GUN RAFFLE: The gun is a 22 L/R Henry Golden Boy. It as gold inlays and could be engrave. The drawing will be at the July 20th Annual Society Meeting.  TICKETS are $2 each. Funds go to Scholarship fund, postage and general fund expenses.

DAYS OF '76 FLOAT:
The Society Float will be in the Days of '76 Parade and Rodeo in Deadwood, SD as Follows:
Friday July 24, 2014- Parade at 1:30 PM, Rodeo at 7 PM
Saturday July 25, 2014- Parade at 10 AM, Rodeo at 1:30 PM and 7 PM

The float will be at the north end of the old railroad depot in uptown Deadwood (near Adams Museum) until approximately one hour before the parade. Then, at the rodeo grounds on lower Main St. before the actual parade starts. The float will be at he rodeo grounds before the rodeos. Riders are always needed. If you are planning or a large group to ride you may wait to make other arrangements. Please call Chris Maupin for more information.

PLEASE NOTE:Â In the interest of safety and liability issues for the Society, the board of directors have stated that ALL riders on the float will be expected to sit in the provided chairs at all times when the float is moving. If anyone must be asked to comply and refuses, the float will be stopped and they will be asked to leave the float.

HISTORY BOOKS:Â We are printing a special 2014Â 125th Anniversary Edition of the book. They will be available at the annual meeting or will be mailed after July 20 meeting. To save postage, we hope to deliver them in the Hills towns. IF you do NOT care to receive one please let Chris Maupin know as soon as possible.
ARTICLES FOR THE 2015 BOOK SHOULD BE SENT TO CHRIS MAUPIN BY JANUARY 1 2015 IF POSSIBLE.

COPIES OF ALL 10 OLDER BOOKS ARE STILL AVAILABLE FR $5 PLUS $2 POSTAGE. A SET OF 10 BOOKS IS $45 PLUS $7 POSTAGE OR THEY CAN BE DELIVERED IN THE HILLS AREA.

--IF YOU HAVE A COPY OF AN OBITUARY OF A DECEASED SOCIETY MEMBER FROM THE PAST, WE WOULD APPRECIATE A COPY FOR OUR ARCHIVE BOOK.
